Trauma: Trauma to the permanent teeth frequently requires rapid assesment by the doctor. We may need to treat injured or knocked out permanent teeth as quickly as possible. Call the office phone number and page the doctor. Trauma to the baby teeth should be discussed with us as soon as possible. However, your child might not need to be seen until the following day.

Fluoride: Fluoride is a natural and unavoidable mineral in our world. The real question is- Are you getting too much or too little fluoride for optimal health? The simple answer is- discuss this with us!

Brushing basics:
We recommend brushing the infant or young child while sitting on your bed. A dry tooth brush works well... no bubbles or spit to obstruct your vision. Child's head is in your lap... feet are on the bed. We'll show you how.

Flossing: Flossing is more important than brushing!!!! Well, not really... but let's talk.
